The typical picture of Córdoba overlooking the bridge, the river and the huge cathedral behind it on a little hill already gives a hint to the atmosphere and beauty of the city. It contains the largest urban area being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also including the Mosque Cathedral, as well as the Festival of the Patios as an intangible cultural legacy.
The patios are also symbolic for the area of Cordoba and Andalusia and are a perfect place for lunch or dinner in a beautiful surrounding. Afterwards a stroll around the city centre, the Jewish quarter and the many monuments is the best way to get to know the city and experience its special culture and spirit.
