Tarragona is perfectly connected with its excellent infrastructure, be it via highway, by plane, train or by boat (including a huge commercial port as well as Port Tarraco, where cruise ships tend to stop). The temperate climate and the clean and beautiful beaches thus make the city to an attractive tourism destination. UNESCO World Heritage can additionally be found in the historic Roman monuments, showing some architectural legacy of the old days. The city can be visited throughout the whole year, offering its visitors a wide range of activities, for example a train showing the city with a panoramic view.
Tarragona is located south of Catalunya, in short distance to Catalunya´s capital Barcelona. The province also has many natural reserves as possible outdoor sports destinations.
