CALPE

The area of Alicante in the region of Valencia is part of the Costa Blanca, a remarkable tourism destination due to its location, climate and enchanting beaches. Calpe used to be a fishing town and is now a relaxing place for a pleasant holiday in Spain, located nearby the city of Valencia.  11 km of coastline entail impressive beaches, coves and cliffs, as well as the iconic Rock of Ifach, an imposing huge rock just off the coastline. The gastronomical offers in restaurants and bars are very authentic specialties and should definitely be tried, for example Llaune de Calpe, a delicious fish stew. The historic part of the city is surrounded by the ancient town walls, built in the 15th century.
